This championship course has hosted the Thailand Open and many other championships, so be warned, playing from the black tees is not for the faint-hearted.
Jack Nicklaus doesn’t let you drop your guard for a second, so accuracy is paramount on every hole to avoid the large bunkers, ample water hazards and difficult roughs with mature trees. It offers excellent value for money considering the quality of the course design and with five tees to choose from it remains an enjoyable challenge for golfers of all standards. Many golfers recommend trying to play the A and C course sections to get the best of the old and the new design. There are six kiosks throughout the course as well, so there is plenty of opportunities to stay refreshed.
The founder of Springfield Country Club sought an approach that would help preserve and enhance wildlife on the property. As a result, you can spot more than 100 species of birds around the golf course, including ducks, owls, cormorants, sparrows, bluebirds, herons, egrets, quail and hawks.
