Hua Hin is currently hosting a cultural festival at the historic old Hua Hin Railway Station, giving both locals and visitors a chance to enjoy the traditions, performances and local character of Prachuap Khiri Khan. The event runs from 10–18 August 2026 and offers free entry.
Known as “Under the Royal Patronage: Tourism of Si Khiri Khan,” the festival brings together cultural activities from across the province, with each district taking its turn to present its own traditions and local identity. The programme includes cultural performances, live music, local food, light-and-sound shows and other evening entertainment.
The old railway station provides a memorable setting for the event, combining Hua Hin’s historic atmosphere with a lively programme for visitors. For anyone staying in Hua Hin this week, the festival is an easy way to experience more of the local culture while enjoying an evening out in the town.
Festival Highlights
The festival opened on 10 August and continues through 18 August 2026. Each evening features activities from different districts of Prachuap Khiri Khan.
On 12 August, Royal Volunteers also took part in a commemorative procession and candle-lighting ceremony honouring Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother. The 1.5-kilometre procession began at 4:30 pm in front of Golden Place near Klai Kangwon Palace, followed Phetkasem Road and ended at the old Hua Hin Railway Station.
